Bright Zinc SLOTANIT OT: Bright Zinc SLOTANIT OT is a weakly acidic electrolyte suitable for both rack and barrel plating. It offers high brilliance, excellent ductility of bright zinc coatings, and good chromating or passivating properties.

Key Features:

• High Current Density: Can be operated at high current densities, depending on metal concentration, operating temperature, and chloride concentration.

• Cloud Point Resistance: Remains free of interfering cloud points even at high salt content, allowing for practical electrolyte temperatures around 50 °C, especially in barrel applications.

• Brightness: A slight decrease in brightness may occur at electrolyte temperatures above 35 °C, particularly for rack parts, but throwing power remains largely unaffected.

• Ammonium-Free Operation: Typically operated without ammonium for wastewater treatment purposes. However, ammonium salts can be used, but higher concentrations (above 10 g/l) may reduce zinc coating ductility.
